However, this is not just limited to the United States. In Spain we can boast of having great entrepreneurs in the digital industry who successfully bet on creativity and business innovation, such as the brothers Pérez Dolset and Planet 51 or Commandos Iceland Email List Alvarez and Castlevania or Gustavo García Brusilovsky and BuyVip. And the fact is that the impact of the Internet on the Spanish economy grows day by day, hence the emergence of more and more companies and entrepreneurs linked to the digital sector. According to the study “Spain cONecta”, the Internet contributes 23,400 million euros to GDP directly and it is expected that in 2015 this amount will multiply by three, reaching 63,000 million euros. There is no doubt that the Internet is one of the most revolutionary phenomena of the last decades; It has modified habits and created new ones, generating, within the business sector, new forms of business, which require trained and prepared professionals to face their peculiarities and demands. In this way, it could be said that the future of work in Spain must be sought in new business niches and new industries such as digital. According to a report by the CMT, electronic commerce in our country moved more than 2,000 million euros in the first quarter of the year. No one can escape this new “digital mindset”.
The online sector grows year after year, allowing us to speak of a professional field in search of entrepreneurs trained and prepared to tackle the permanent transformations of the digital world. To meet this demand for new job profiles, U-tad was born, the first university center exclusively focused on digital content. Behind this name are the Pérez Dolset brothers, creators of companies such as Pyro Studios, Ilion Animation Studios or Zed and those responsible for Commandos or Planet 51, among other projects. Welcome to the European Silicon Valley The one that aspires to become the European Silicon Valley opens its doors next October in Las Rozas (Madrid), presenting during this first year three degrees, among them, the Degree in Direction, Creation and Production of Digital Content, designed to respond to this type of work profile that is behind the entire process of creation, development and implementation of all kinds of digital products and services. The U-tad training model seeks that, from day one, the student immerses himself and naturally lives the reality of work, so the training is eminently practical and allows the integration of education and companies in the same framework. At U-tad you learn by working, instead of learning by working. Ignacio Pérez Dolset, co-founder of U-tad, underlines: “The incorporation of new digital professionals is not an option, it is a necessity, so if Spain wants to become part of this industry, we have to move a tab before the rest and train professionals at home to meet this growing demand ”.
